About the role
Right now, we are looking for an exceptional senior registered nurse to join our Child Health Service team on a permanent 1.0 FTE position working 40 hours per week.
The purpose of this position is to provide nursing assessment, care coordination of children/adolescents referred to the Gateway Assessment programme within Te Whatu Ora- Te Tai Tokerau, with the aim of improving the health and education outcomes for children and adolescents who come into the care of Oranga Tamariki.
In this role you will utilise your specialist nursing knowledge and skills to provide patient focused care and coordination that will optimise the patient's journey, improve health outcomes and ensure that an excellent quality of care is provided.
Key requirements to be successful
- PDRP at a designated senior nursing level
- Relevant PG Diploma in specialty area
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the relevant specialty area
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrates an ability to lead and facilitate change
