About the role
Achieving the best health outcomes for our patients starts with expecting the best from ourselves, and right now Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau is looking for an experienced and motivated Specialty Clinic Nurse to join our Orthopaedic Outpatients Department.
The purpose of this position is to provide support and coordination for the care of acute and acute arranged orthopaedic patients within the hospital setting to ensure delivery of coordinated care.
In this position, you will coordinate application and access to relevant ACC acute injury and surgery support and work with the wider team to ensure this is applied to all relevant cases.
This is a permanent 0.7 FTE position working 28 hours per week and the shift starts at 7.30 a.m.
- Registered Nurse with a current Practicing Certificate
- Current PDRP or working towards
- Relevant post graduate qualification or working towards
