Clinical Nurse Coordinator - Acute Medical Patient Flow (0.4FTE) at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Te Tai Tokerau, Northland

Right now, we are looking for an exceptional Registered nurse to join our Medical and Elder Services team to work in collaboration with clinical teams to ensure efficient and effective coordination of acute medical admissions and transfers across Whangarei Hospital.

 

This is on a permanent part-time basis working 16 hours per week.

 

This role will be responsible for:

  • Facilitating effective and efficient flow of acute hospital admissions
  • Ensuring the provision and quality of care is safe, professional and patient focused
  • Provide professional nursing leadership

 

To be successful for this role, you will need:

  • New Zealand Registered Nurse / Midwife with a current Practicing Certificate
  • Relevant Post Graduate Certificate or working towards
  • At least 3 years' experience in relevant specialty area
  • PDRP at Expert Level or working towards it
  • Computer literacy
