Post-Anaesthetic Care Unit/Surgical Admission Unit (2.5FTE, fixed term)

About the role:
We have 3 Fixed Term maternity leave positions available so if you have ever considered PACU as role you would like to experience now is the time to give it a go. We are seeking applicants with 2 years of surgical experience but would also welcome someone who has worked in high acute flow areas. Key strengths we are looking for are Energy, Adaptable & Keen to Learn. If that sounds like you we are eager to hear from you. The successful applicant will be required to work rostered shifts.
You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a skilled team. You will need to have great work organisation skills, the ability to work under pressure and an on-going commitment to service improvement.
We have part-time or full-time opportunities available on a fixed term ending 16 August 2024.
Key Requirements
- A registered Nurse with a current APC
- Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate surgical experience
- Proven knowledge base and practical experience with pain Management in an Acute Setting
