About the role
Achieving the best health outcomes for our patients starts with expecting the best from ourselves, and right now Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau is looking for a motivated Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Patient at Risk Team at Whangarei Hospital.
The primary function of this role is to support the care of the “at risk” or “deteriorating patient” and their care team through utilizing specialist nursing knowledge and skills to optimize the patient journey, improve health outcomes and ensure that an excellent quality of care is provided.
This is a permanent 0.9 FTE position working 36 hours per week.
- NZ Registered Nurse with a current Practicing Certificate
- Relevant PG Diploma in an acute care area (or working towards)
- Experience in acute care with evidence of senior nursing practice
- Computer literacy
- Excellent communication skills
- Attractive salary range of $97,699 - $107,341
