About the role:
Achieving the best health outcomes for our patients starts with expecting the best from ourselves, and right now Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau is looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to join our District Nursing Team.
This is a permanent 0.8 FTE part time position working 32 hours per week based in the Whangarei, caring for patients in their own home or clinics
The primary function of this position is to utilise professional knowledge and skill to provide a holistic approach to nursing care that is safe, of the highest quality possible and in accordance with:
- Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau policies
- Registered Nurse Scope of Practice
- Nursing Practice Standards
- Nursing Council of NZ Registered Nurse competencies
- Nursing Council code of conduct
Required skills/experience:
- Registered Nurse with a current practicing certificate
- Community nursing experience
- Good communication skills
