About the role
Right now, we have an opportunity for a skilled Associate Clinical Nurse Manager (ACNM) to join the District Nursing Team in Whangarei in a permanent position working part time, 32 hours per week. This role will assist the Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) to deliver the required outcomes for the services. They will be responsible for providing clinical coordination, expertise and direction to the District Nursing team to deliver patient focused, high quality care.
Tasks include:
- Support the Clinical Nurse Manager by providing coordination and direction to the nursing and wider Multidisciplinary team
- Coordinate professional and patient focused care to ensure there is a high level of care provided to patients and whanau across the service
- Coordinate day to day activities of staff
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to the nursing team
Key requirements
- Registered Nurse with a current practicing certificate
- Relevant PG Diploma
- Designated Senior Nurse PDRP or Expert PDRP (demonstrating clinical examples)
- Minimum of 5 years post graduate experience
Community experience and demonstrated experience in leadership roles is preferred but not essential.
This role requires expert knowledge and skills in the management of patients, providing direct care as required, including effective leadership and management of patient outcomes.
