About the Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a qualified and experienced Medical Imaging Technologist (MIT) to join our team at Lakes District Hospital on a permanent part-time basis.
This role is based in General X-Ray, and you will be required to conduct Diagnostic Medical Imaging examinations in a safe and professional manner. You will be required to liaise with staff and patients within the Hospital and wider Southern region, so good communication skills are essential. You will need to have a focus on quality and professionalism and be able to work unsupervised.

About the Team/Service/Location
Lakes District Hospital Radiology has both X-Ray and CT facilities which you will be working across if you are qualified to do so. The hours of work are currently rostered shifts Monday - Sunday from 0800 - 2200 plus on call overnight.

About You
We are searching for a confident, skilled Medical Imaging Technologist who is committed to patient centred care.
What you will bring:
- Current registration and Annual Practising Certificate with the Medical Radiation Technologists Board (MRTB).
- Strong commitment to patient safety, comfort and high-quality imaging.
- Clear and effective communication skills with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
