Administration Team Leader Admin – Women's and Children's Health Services
- Dunedin Hospital, Fixed term full time available
- Fixed term until July 2027
- Salary between $82,851-$87,473 per annum

About the Role
The primary purpose of the role is to manage a group of employees who perform administrative duties. The Team Leader will be responsible for the day-to-day co-ordinated direction, assignment and organisation of clinical bookings for Medicine, Women's, and Children's Health Services
The Team Leader will be a point of contact for management and associated teams to provide optimal service. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, staffing and providing technical support and training to administration team members to best practice standards. You will lead initiatives that embrace innovation & swiftly adjust to strategies and operations in response to evolving healthcare. Developing & supporting initiatives to address barriers to achieve equity, reducing variation, and supporting partnership across the health sector is an important part of this role.

About you
Our ideal candidate will:
- At least two years administration experience
- Previous experience leading and managing a team.
- Experience with data management and information systems
- Strong knowledge of office systems
- Be a strong written and verbal communicator
- Have excellent computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Be a touch typist with a typing speed above 65 words per minute
- Have a strong attention to detail
- Be respectful of the privacy of individuals when dealing with personal information
