Registered Nurse - Ōamaru Oncology Day Unit
Salary band $81,000 - $106,000 p.a + KiwiSaver

About the Role
Our service looks after the care of medical oncology and haematology patients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy and supportive therapy, or patients who have recently returned from radiation therapy in Dunedin.
Some of the key nursing tasks are:
- Comprehensive patient assessment;
- Administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapies and associated supportive therapies or procedures;
- Psychosocial assessment and support.
- The service currently operates two days per week, on Wednesdays and Thursdays; however, this schedule may be adjusted based on changing needs.

About you
- Current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council and a current APC,
- Must have NZ working rights we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
- Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals
- Excellent time management, interpersonal and organisational skills
- The ability to be adaptable, flexible and solution focused
- Recent experience in an acute setting

Salary Range
This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the expired NZNO CEA and the salary will be in accordance with the RN Pay Scale, between step 2 $81,683 and step 7 $106,739 p.a pro rata.
