Enrolled Nurse - Assessment, Treatment & Rehabilitation

Salary Band – $69,000 - $83,000 p.a pro rata + Kiwisaver

About the role

Working in a dynamic and evolving interdisciplinary team within the services covering Older People's Health Rehabilitation Services based at Dunedin Hospital.

 

This is an opportunity to develop your knowledge and expertise in older people's health and rehabilitation for conditions that:

  • Require a period of rehabilitation.
  • An interdisciplinary approach and comprehensive assessment and treatment.
  • Multiple and /or chronic health conditions, disabilities, injury, strokes, fractures and declining function related to age and frailty.

About you

  • New Zealand Enrolled Nurse with a current annual practicing certificate.
  • Nursing experience that includes working with stroke, orthopaedic, frail elderly and other neurological conditions.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of optimising patient outcomes,
  • Facilitate in effective rehabilitation,
  • A patient centred and evidence-based approach,

Salary range

This role belongs to the expired NZNO Collective Agreement and falls between step 1 ($69,934 p.a) and Step 5 ($83,349 p.a pro rata) of the EN scale.
