About the role
We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Administrator to join our Planned Care Team in Dunedin. The Planned Care team work across the Southern district and encompasses all aspects of non-acute health care delivered across primary, rural and hospital settings. For someone interested in a career in health administration or management this role is a great starting point and will set you up for more advanced roles within health care
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide professional administrative support to the Planned Care Team
- Monitor shared inboxes and ensure timely follow-up of requests.
- Maintain accurate patient and service information within Health NZ systems.
- Support data quality and audit activities.
- Coordinate meetings, agendas, minutes and action tracking.
- Maintain electronic filing systems and records.
- Deliver excellent customer service to patients and stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with clinicians, managers and administration teams.

Ideally you will have:
- At least 12 months administration experience in a busy environment.
- Experience or interest in healthcare.
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- Experience contributing to improvement initiatives.
