We provide essential hospital, specialist, and community health services across 80+ locations — from large urban centres to rural towns and remote communities.

Our goal is to improve health outcomes for all New Zealanders by delivering equitable, accessible and innovative care.

About the Role

As a Contracts Liaison Coordinator, you will play an important role in supporting the financial and contractual management of Primary and Community health service agreements across the national or regional team. You will coordinate the creation, maintenance and administration of contracts, ensuring agreements are accurate, compliant and processed within required timeframes to support the delivery of funded health services.

In this role, you will work closely with internal teams and external providers to manage contract information within our Contract Management and Agreement Lifecycle Management systems. From preparing agreement documentation and supporting performance reporting processes, to maintaining provider records and monitoring contract timelines, your work will help ensure services can commence smoothly and providers are paid accurately and on time. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with systems, coordinating complex information and contributing to processes that support essential health services

About the Team

The team supports planning, funding and outcomes teams by ensuring contracts are created, managed and maintained effectively.

Working in a collaborative environment, the team partners closely with national and regional service teams, Sector Operations and health providers to ensure contract processes are followed and services are delivered in line with organisational requirements.

As a Contracts Liaison Coordinator, you will be highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working with systems, processes and complex documentation. You will bring strong administrative capability and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

    • Advanced administration skills with strong capability in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Ability to work collaboratively in self-directed or cross-functional teams
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with documentation and data
    • Ideally an understanding of health sector contracts, commissioning processes or service agreements
