About the Role
As an Administration Coordinator NCSP Register, you will provide essential day-to-day administrative support, input and update NCSP register information, enabling the team and wider service to deliver cervical screening complying to guidelines effectively. This role will include a variety of tasks, supporting programmes. This is a permanent 0.4 (16 hours per week) opportunity located at Wakari Hospital in Dunedin.
About the Team/Service/ Location
The National Public Health Service (NPHS) within Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora, work towards Pae Ora (healthy futures) for all by engaging with the wider determinants that impact people's health, focusing on oranga/wellbeing, prevention, protection, and population-level intervention. We are connected across boundaries to deliver public health services that are nationally planned, regionally delivered and locally tailored. The NCSP Register supports cervical screening, enabling access and support for wahine to receive HPV testing and smear taking, aligning with NCSP guidelines.
This role is part of an Administration team that works with teams in the local National Public Health Service. While working with all teams, this role works with the National Cervical Screening Team in Southern.
About you
As an Administration Coordinator NCSP Register, you will be a proactive and enthusiastic individual who works well as part of a team but can use your initiative and work independently when needed. You will be required to work with a range of teams and audiences in this role, so you will need to be an excellent communicator who can engage with stakeholders and network across the NPHS Te Waipounamu regional teams and the wider organisation.
- Proven experience in office administration, databases and supporting a manager and team
- Experience in implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action.
- Experience working in a medium to large complex organisation or other government agency
- Intermediate skills in the MS Office 365 suite and experience working in databases/register programmes.
