About the role

The Hospital in the Home team is a dedicated team servicing five 'virtual beds' based in the patients home.

• Care for acute patients in a virtual ward setting, travelling to the patients home
• Assess and treat patients who are still considered inpatient under hospital care
• Liase closely with the Medical Assessment unit and the Home team
• Our service is compassionate, friendly and we are committed to high standards of practice
• Rostered morning 10 hour shifts covering 7 days per week.

About you:

• Current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council
• Three years experience in an acute setting
• Previous experience in NZ community nursing
• Full, clean NZ driver's licence
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously
• Ideally have or working towards PDRP

Salary range

This role belongs to the NZNO Collective Agreement and falls between Step 4 ($91,179 p.a) and Step 7 ($106,739 p.a pro-rata) of the RN scale.
