Registered Nurse - Ōamaru Hospital at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Southern, Otago

About the role

  • Our inpatient ward provides for acute medical and rehabilitation services, for adults of all ages across a wide variety of specialties
  • Our ED holds a triage area, a rapid assessment area, dedicated resuscitation areas, acute, sub-acute and paediatric cubicles along with ambulatory care spaces
  • Collaborate with medical staff, charge nurse managers, other nurses, a service educator, ward receptionists, social workers, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech language therapists
  • Assist with ambulance transfers

About you

  • Current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council and a current APC
  • Must hold full working rights as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role
  • Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals
  • Excellent time management, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • The ability to be adaptable, flexible and solution focused
  • Recent experience in an acute setting

Salary range

This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the expired NZNO CEA and the salary will be in accordance with the RN Pay Scale, between step two $39.16 and step seven $51.17 per hour.
