Digitisation Quality Officer at Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Southern, Otago

  • Hours of work - Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm
  • Salary between $66,611 - $71,074 per annum depending on experience

About the role

As we evolve into a digital environment, we have a fixed-term, full-time (1 FTE) Digitisation Quality Officer position available until 30 June 2026. This role ensures the quality of the information we are digitising meets standards set out by Archives New Zealand, while producing a digital document for staff to access, and also ensures quality information can be accessed in a timely way.

This role contributes to the smooth running of the Digitisation Service by providing an efficient and timely digitisation support function that is responsive and flexible to the changing needs of the service/organisation.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • excellent IT skills with an ability to learn new systems
  • the ability to use multiple applications
  • the proven ability to work with IT solutions to ensure data quality
  • the ability to operate and run a quality assurance program including quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • the ability to troubleshoot IT issues
  • a high standard of interpersonal communication skills, including written and verbal
  • a high level of accuracy, judgment and maintaining confidentiality
  • a Diploma in Business Administration would be an advantage.
