District Nurse - Te Anau at Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Southern, Otago

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to work in the Te Anau and surrounding districts on a casual basis. You will provide holistic nursing care and support care to a variety of clients, in Te Anau and surrounds, ranging from terminal care and post discharge follow-up. You will be responsible for planning and implementing care to a diverse range of patients.

About you

You will be a passionate, committed and enthusiastic nurse who has a positive attitude. This is the perfect opportunity for those of you who have broad experience from a surgical and medical or community setting, and of course, you'll love to work autonomously within the community. It is essential that applicants have had three to five years of varied post-basic nursing experience.

Since you will be driving every day, a full, clean driver's licence is essential for this role. You must be registered in accordance with the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 as a Registered Nurse and have a current practicing certificate.
