About the role
As a healthcare assistant, you will be involved in:
- supporting nurses and other members of the healthcare team
- patient supervision and/or movement
- stock reconciliation
- ward maintenance
- patient care, as required
- one-to-one patient watch, as required.

About you
You will:
- already hold New Zealand work rights, as visa sponsorship is not available for this role
- be committed to high standards of practice, well organised, and with excellent communication skills
- be motivated, flexible, mature, and enthusiastic
- have experience working with people in a caring capacity, whether gained in a professional environment or through caring for children or family members (essential).
Previous healthcare experience is preferred, we are particularly interested in applicants who are dynamic, friendly, and demonstrate a high level of initiative.

Salary range
This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the expired NZNO CEA, and the salary will be in accordance with the relevant pay scale, between $60,100 and $70,358 p.a, dependent on experience.
