About the role

We are seeking a locum Medical Oncologist to join our friendly team at Dunedin Hospital for a three-month period.

The Southern Blood and Cancer Service includes a team of eight medical oncologists, one nurse practitioner, five radiation oncologists, and six haematologists working within a tertiary referral centre. We believe our dedicated and passionate staff are key to maintaining our high standards of care, and we are looking for like-minded individuals to join us.

The Southern district offers excellent amenities, quality education from primary through to tertiary level, and outstanding recreational opportunities. Whether your interests include surfing, kayaking, sailing, skiing, hunting, fishing, theatre, live music, or art - there is something for everyone.

If this sounds like the opportunity you have been waiting for, we encourage you to apply.

About you

You must hold Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians or an equivalent qualification, enabling specialist (vocational) registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
