Enrolled Nurse - Mental Health for Older Persons at Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Southern, Otago

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Enrolled Nurse to join our supportive multidisciplinary team, preferably with mental health nursing experience.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your clinical skills as you work alongside patients in a complex environment to meet their identified needs in a multidisciplinary setting. The emphasis is on the delivery of safe, client-focused care in a changing dynamic setting, working closely with the Associate Charge Nurse Manager, Clinical Nurse Specialist, and registered nurses within our service.

About you

As an experienced Enrolled Nurse, you will also have:

  • the ability to work effectively and to a high standard within your scope of practice
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
  • a passion for supporting people with an intellectual disability from admission to discharge.

You must be registered as an Enrolled Nurse with NCNZ (Enrolled Nurse Scope of Practice, NCNZ, 2010) and have a current Practising Certificate.
