Simulation Technician at Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Southern, Otago

About the role

As a Simulation Technician you will work under the guidance of the Practice Development Unit Nurse Manager and with the OCSL Operations Coordinator to provide support and assistance with the delivery and development of all new and existing clinical skills and simulation-based learning programmes at Dunedin Hospital.

The role forms a vital part of education for staff and students.

In this role, you will:

  • have the knowledge and ability to use audio-visual capture equipment
  • maintain a database of equipment, including maintenance, configuration, testing, calibration, repair, and cleaning
  • collaborate with different managers and end users to support their training.

Salary range

This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the PSA Allied, Public Health, Scientific and Technical Multi-Employer CEA and the salary will be in accordance with the non-degree salary scale - Group B Pay Scale, between $74,353 and $90,665 per annum, depending on relevant experience.
