Salary Band - $89,000 - $95,000 p.a. pro-rata + Kiwisaver

Our 8th floor medical ward has a new opportunity for an experienced registered nurse with an interest in coaching and mentoring new team members.

We are looking for an experienced nurse with a strong nursing background to:

• promote, facilitate, and provide education and support in clinical skills, policies and procedures and knowledge to our newer nursing team members
• support current staff learning new specialty procedures.

Mōu ake - About you

We're looking for a registered nurse with strong credible clinical leadership skills.

You will also have the following:

• A current New Zealand Registration and APC
• A current Portfolio (PDRP or equivalent) or be working towards one - Level 3 or 4
• Previous preceptorship experience or Adult teaching qualifications would be an advantage
• A first-rate knowledge of professional standards and regulations for Nurses with impeccable practice standards and nursing speciality knowledge

Utu whānui - Salary range

This role belongs to the DHB/NZNO Collective Agreement and falls between Step 5 ($89,868 p.a. pro-rata) and Step 7 ($95,340) p.a. pro-rata of the Registered Nurse Salary Scale.
