Mō te tūranga - About the role
The purpose of this role is to ensure that both staff and consumers of care remain safe while they move in, out and across our services. This fixed-term role ensures the development of organisational policy, procedures, and measurable systems towards a 'business as usual' framework for coordinated safe and respectful care of patients of larger size.
You will have the opportunity to work across services, innovate, implement change, streamline practice, network widely as well as gain valuable experience and skills.

- holds considerable post registration experience in health with a current annual practising certificate
- demonstrates professional credibility in the clinical setting with the confidence and passion for supporting and developing our staff
- has first-rate knowledge of the professional standards and regulations for health care professionals
- possesses superior written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Utu whānui - Salary range
This role belongs to the expired DHBs/NZNO Nursing and Midwifery Multi-Employer Collective Agreement (1 August 2020 - 31 October 2022), Designated Senior Nurses Scale, Grade 1, and falls between Step 1 and Step 3.
