Mō te tūranga - About the role
The Medical Assessment Unit is closely linked to the Emergency Department and other front-line services, so variety is a key element in this busy but rewarding role. The unit is responsible for streamlining the assessment and admission of non-critically ill medical patients and accommodates and cares for them for up to 24 - 36 hours so there is ample opportunity to make a difference for patients during what can be a vulnerable and scary experience.

When you join us we will support your on-going professional development, and encourage you to progress with your career goals, so it is important to us that you are self-motivated and have a desire to succeed. All roles with us include rostered rotating shifts 24/7 - incl. night shifts.

- Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals
- Excellent time management, interpersonal and organisational skills
