Mō te tūranga - About the role
As part of our Health Promotion team you will support and promote good oral health for our community. You will be required to travel throughout Otago and Southland and engage with community groups. You will need to demonstrate exceptional communication skills, allowing you to liaise and engage with a diverse range of people from a variety of different cultures and communities. In addition the role includes oral health advice and dissemination of resources to other agencies and groups. This position is based in Dunedin.
Mōu ake - About you
You will need to have a good understanding of the principles of health promotion, be able to undertake health needs assessments, planning, implementing and evaluating projects to promote health improvement. There is a significant administrative component to this role so it is essential that you are computer literate, have strong attention to detail and excellent time management. Previous experience as a Health Promotion Advisor is preferred and It is essential that you have a full clean driver license.

Utu whānui - Salary range
This role belongs to the PSA Allied Collective Agreement and falls between the Step 1 ($59,035 pa pro-rata) to Step 7 ($83,030 p.a pro-rata) Degree based scale
