Mō te tūranga - About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated Registered Nurse for our busy and progressive Radiology Service. A full range of diagnostic and interventional procedures are performed within our Radiology scope.

We offer a supportive orientation programme in an interesting and varied speciality area. If you are interested in developing your career, please contact us for further information. You will be required to work predominantly Monday through Friday with some evening and weekend work as well as participation in the on-call roster.

Mōu ake - About you

You must have strong patient assessment skills and be committed to working efficiently as a member of a multidisciplinary Radiology team. Training will be given for the specific skills required in the Radiology Service. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential and you will expected to deliver high quality, patient focused care.

We're looking for someone who'sexperiencedand organised, friendly and calm, able to work independently and at the same time genuinely interested in the best outcome for both patient and team. It is imperative that you are able to hit the ground running to provide much needed support to the team and our community.

Additionally you will need:

  • Current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council and a current APC, with the right to work in New Zealand.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals.
  • Excellent time management, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • The ability to be adaptable, flexible and solution focused.

Utu whānui - Salary range

This role belongs to the DHB/NZNO Collective Agreement, Registered Nurse scale and falls between step 1 ($66,570 p.a. pro-rata) and Step 7 ($95,340 p.a. pro-rata)
