Mō te tūranga - About the role
The primary purpose of the role is to lead and manage the assigned services, providing operational leadership and coordination.
There is a focus on sustainable, long term quality improvement initiatives and resource management to ensure maximum efficiency across the department.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Service delivery processes
- Management of financial performance
- Activity and production planning
- Human resource management
- Quality and risk management
- Certification and accreditation and other service delivery improvements within the service
Mōu ake - About you
You will have a high level of interpersonal and communication skills and excellent computer literacy. You will have a proven track record of establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with people at all levels within the public and private sectors.
Essential:
- A Tertiary qualification in Electronics or equivalent electronics knowledge and practical work experience
- Current registration as an Electrical Appliance Service Person
- Current NZ driver's licence
Desired:
- Healthcare experience or qualification
- Relevant postgraduate qualification

Utu whānui - Salary range
This role belongs to the DHBs/PSA Allied, Public Health and Technical Multi-Employer Collective Agreement and falls between $111,240 p.a and $127,720 p.a pro-rata of the Degree-based Allied, Public Health and Technical Salary scale.
