Permanent, Part time (0.6 FTE)

Salary range $73,476 - $76,551 pro rata, per annum depending on experience

About the role

At Health New Zealand-Southern, it's truly a team effort - we are looking for someone who has experience and a passion for patient safety to join our team.  

We are looking for someone who has outstanding skills in systems and processes that can provide clinical administration support for the Patient Safety and Risk Teams.

 The key functions include management of systems and processes that support Adverse Event reviews and supporting the providing administration support to the Clinical Governance process. 

This position is 0.6 FTE, covering processes across Health New Zealand - Southern. It is an integral role to the team to develop, support and manage these activities.

The Quality & Clinical Governance Team enables consumers, clinicians, managers, and other staff to co-create a safe, equitable, accountable and continuously improving healthcare service – this is your opportunity to gain new skills and make your contribution to this valuable work.

About you

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action
  • Experience in computing skills including Office, Teams, Excel, SharePoint
  • Excellent communication/ customer service skills
  • Excellent teamwork/ collaboration skills
  • Ability to be adaptive and flexible with an excellent aptitude for problem solving.
