Fixed term Registered Nurse – Nursing Resource Unit

  • Southland Hospital, 0.6FTE and full-time roles available
  • Fixed term until September 2026
  • Salary band $81,600 - $106,700 p.a. pro-rata

About the Role

If you are looking for a new challenge and enjoy variety in your work, then our Nursing Resource Unit wants to speak to you!  Our Nursing Resource Unit at Southland Hospital has a pool of Registered Nurses who work across all wards of the hospital, and we are inviting applications for experienced and motivated Registered Nurses to join our team.

We are interested in hearing from enthusiastic Registered Nurses who would be able to adapt to any ward situation. This really is the role which will offer variety, pace and flexibility. The opportunities available are across all shifts 24/7 (incl. night shifts).

About you

To be successful in this role you will be:

  • A good communicator and team player,
  • Flexible and adaptable,
  • Eligible to work in New Zealand,
  • Able to work collaboratively with other health professionals and autonomously,
  • Able to easily integrate into different established teams in order to provide effective patient care,
  • And have Nursing Council of NZ registration, and a current APC.
  • Ideally have previous experience in a hospital setting.
