About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and proactive individual to join our Community Services Team, as an Allied Health Assistant. This is a full-time permanent role, with weekend work on a rostered basis.
In this role, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team (consisting of Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and other Allied Health Assistants) to deliver interventions and rehabilitation plans with patients. This role is varied and involves supporting patients in their own homes to achieve their goals.
About you
You will have experience in rehabilitation and a natural empathy for people. You'll bring a positive attitude, a good sense of humour, and the ability to motivate and engage others to achieve the best outcomes for our patients.
To be successful in this role, you will also demonstrate:
- Be a supportive team player who is open to learning
- Demonstrate commitment, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Can follow instructions while also using initiative and common sense.
- Be physically fit and comfortable with the physical aspects of the role.
- Be confident using computers and digital systems.
- Hold a full clean driver's licence.
- Able to work weekends as the service runs 7 days per week
