Registered Nurse – Assessment Treatment and Rehabilitation Ward

• Permanent 0.8 FTE (32 hours a week) opportunity

• Salary band – $81,683 - $106,739 p.a pro rata + Kiwisaver

About the Role

This role will see you supporting patients in their rehabilitation journey. You will be involved in:

• Conducting thorough assessments of patients' health conditions and rehabilitation needs.
• Providing high-quality, person-centred nursing care, including administering medications, wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
• Assist patients with daily activities and mobility to promote independence and recovery
• Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring that each patient's unique goals and needs are addressed

About you

This role requires a nurse who is adaptive to change, resourceful, flexible to service needs and future development and a genuine passion for working in the community.

 Within this position you will require:

• Comprehensive clinical assessment and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within the inter-professional team.
• Ability to direct and delegate to Allied Health Assistants
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with health professionals, both within the in-patient services and in the community setting.
• Recent experience of working with the older adults in acute, rehabilitation or community settings

This role covers a Monday to Sunday rostered shifts

You will need to be a NZ Registered Nurse with current APC.
