Registered Nurse - Continence District Nursing at Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Southern, Southland

About the role

Urinary and bowel incontinence are distressing conditions with significant social implications and are a concern for individuals of all ages and genders. It has a huge impact on peoples quality of life! The Community Continence Service at Health New Zealand Southern is looking for a passionate registered nurse to join our small, but very enthusiastic team.

About the Team/Service/Location

About you

Experience in urology, gynaecology or community nursing will be a distinct advantage (but not essential), and the successful applicant must have a current, clean driver's licence with the ability to travel throughout the region as required.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • a current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council and a current APC, with the right to work in New Zealand
  • demonstrated the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals
  • excellent time management, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • the ability to be adaptable, flexible and solution focused.
