About the role
As a healthcare assistant, you will be involved in:
- supporting our nurses and other members of the healthcare team
- patient supervision and/or movement
- stock reconciliation
- ward maintenance
- patient cares, as required
Becoming a healthcare assistant in the health sector is a great opportunity to:
- use your caring and empathetic nature in your work
- receive on-the-job training and support
- gain a NZQA Level 3 certificate (Health and Wellbeing for Hospitals and Health Sector). Fees are fully funded.
