About the role
We have a vacancy for a qualified Pacing Cardiac Physiologist to join our Diagnostic Testing team at Southland Hospital on a full/part-time permanent basis.
Our Department is involved in a full range of tests including, ECG's, Holter monitoring, Exercise Stress Testing, Pacemaker and ICD follow-up and Echocardiography. This role would have responsibility for the care of around 800 patients with a full range of implanted cardiac devices but implants are limited to cardiac monitors only. You will need to have current registration (or meet registration requirements) with the Clinical Physiologists Registration Board and have the ability to gain an APC.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and great communication skills with team members and patients alike. The ability to cope with busy workloads and flexibility is a must.
The successful candidate must have the following:
- Hold a Post graduate qualification of IBHRE/NASPE or similar, or be currently working towards IBHRE
- Have evidence of ongoing CME and self-directed learning
- Ideally hold four years' plus experience in Pacing post registration
