Mo te turanga - About the role
Our works team is made up of carpenters, joiners, painters, and grounds staff, the people who keep the hospital running, and keep it looking good - Keeping it warm, safe, and compliant.
You'll be responsible for helping carry out various aspects of repairs and maintenance, internal and external painting, from minor touch-ups, to full re-painting. Your job is to keep the hospital and other buildings looking good.
Mou ake - About you
Our ideal candidate will have the following:
- National Certificate in Painting and Decorating Level 4
- At least two years experience in a commercial painting role
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment would be a big help
- Most importantly, you will have a positive, 'can-do' attitude

Utu whanui - Salary range
This role belongs to the AWUNZ Collective Agreement for maintenance trades roles and falls between the step 1 ($55,640 p.a) and Step 5 ($68,000 p.a)
