Are you looking for an interesting role in healthcare whilst maintaining a great work/life balance? Our fabulous VIP team is looking for a motivated and experienced Administration Officer to join our friendly team.
Mō te tūranga - About the role
The VIP team implement the Violence Intervention Programme (VIP) - a Ministry of Health programme - reducing harm from family violence by implementing an early intervention programme; identifying family violence and child protection in the health settings. The team are based in both the Dunedin and Invercargill sites but provide support and training for health professionals across the Otago and Southland region, including our trust hospitals.
As the Administration Officer you will effectively contribute to the smooth running of the team by providing timely and high quality local and district wide administrative support. The role requires excellent word processing and data entry skills along with a strong eye for detail.

This permanent, part-time (0.6FTE) position is based at Southland Hospital but provides administrative support for the team across the district. The days of work will be Monday to Friday, hours will be negotiated with the successful application.

Utu whānui - Salary range
This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the PSA South Island Clerical Multi-Employer Collective Agreement and the salary will be in accordance with the National Health Administration Workers Pay Scale, Band 4 between $64,903 and $67,787 p.a pro rata dependant on relevant experience.
