Healthcare Assistant – General Ward
- Lakes District Hospital
- Permanent, part time opportunity (0.6 FTE)
- Salary Band – $60,100 - $70,358 per annum pro-rata + KiwiSaver

About the Role
In this important role you will help with a range of direct and non-direct patient care tasks under the direction of a registered nurse and maintain the department environment to ensure efficient and effective functioning.
This includes:
- Supporting our nurses and other members of the healthcare team
- Patient supervision and/or movement
- Stock reconciliation, restocking, and setting up of equipment
- General department housekeeping
- Patient cares, as required
- Clerical duties, as required
Hours of work are Monday to Sunday inclusive, based on rostered shifts including nights and weekends.
