Healthcare Assistant – General Ward

• Lakes District Hospital
• Permanent, part time opportunity (0.6 FTE)
• Salary Band – $60,100 - $70,358 per annum pro-rata + KiwiSaver

About the Role

In this important role you will help with a range of direct and non-direct patient care tasks under the direction of a registered nurse and maintain the department environment to ensure efficient and effective functioning.

This includes:

• Supporting our nurses and other members of the healthcare team
• Patient supervision and/or movement
• Stock reconciliation, restocking, and setting up of equipment
• General department housekeeping
• Patient cares, as required
• Clerical duties, as required

Hours of work are Monday to Sunday inclusive, based on rostered shifts including nights and weekends.
