About your team / Ko te tīma 

Regulatory Effectiveness is a new group established at WorkSafe to strengthen regulatory focus and improve how WorkSafe understands risk, designs interventions, and evaluates impact.  

The Intervention Design and Planning team plays a key role in developing and improving the interventions WorkSafe uses to address workplace health and safety risks. Working alongside designers, advisors and subject matter experts, the team supports consistent ways of working, ensuring tools, processes and resources are practical, accessible and effective across the organisation. 

 

About the role / Ō te tūranga 

As Process and Tools Support, you'll help ensure intervention design and planning activities are delivered consistently across WorkSafe. You'll provide practical support, guidance and coordination to help teams apply agreed processes and tools, maintain quality documentation and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing structure, organisation and efficiency to complex pieces of work. 

 

What You'll Do/ Ko tōu ake mahi  

  • Support teams to apply agreed processes, tools and templates
  • Provide guidance on established ways of working to designers and advisors
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and resources
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and usability
  • Coordinate information, templates and documentation to support consistent design practices
  • Collaborate with the Process and Tools Lead and wider team to align local practice with agreed approaches 

 

What You'll Bring / Ko ngā pukenga ōu  

  • Demonstrated experience supporting processes, tools or systems in a programme, operational or business environments 
  • Experience helping teams adopt consistent ways of working
  • Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to identify and communicate process improvements
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills with proven ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders

Salary range / Awhe utu 

As part of our remuneration framework, the full salary range is $74,174 - $96,491, with the expected appointment base salary is $74,174-$81,612 (KiwiSaver/SSRSS employer contributions are additional). From 1 April 2026 our KiwiSaver employer contribution increased to 3.5%.
