The Recruitment Coordinator role is one of those opportunities. This role represents an opportunity as we shape a new way of working to really make your mark and own the role all while providing exceptional recruitment support to our newly formed regional team.
On any given day you could be:
- Liaising with and supporting candidates through their application journey
- Booking interviews or assessment centres
- Keeping our records and systems up to date
- Answering general enquiries from internal and external
- Carrying out pre-employment checks including drug testing, criminal conviction checking, or reference checking

As an experienced Recruitment Coordinator, you will relish the opportunity to work in an environment where the work is both varied and complex. You will have experience working within an organisation where compliance with both policy and process is essential.
Your organisational skills will put others to shame and your ability to communicate both verbally and written will be strong.
We will empower you to make this role your own, all that we ask is that you are able to demonstrate the following:
- Strong attention to detail
- Awesome prioritisation and time management skills
- Proficiency in MS office, and the ability to quickly learn in-house packages.
- Initiative, flexibility and a ‘can do' attitude
- Experience providing efficient administration support, preferably within an HR or recruitment environment
- The ability to establish credible relationships others
We are looking for a great human – first and foremost! You are an enthusiastic, energised team-player who can show an understanding (or an openness to developing an understanding) of the Treaty of Waitangi/Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application to the work of government departments.
Utu ā-tau | Salary
The salary range for this position is $51,006 - $72,008, Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
