We have exciting full time and part time opportunities for MIT's to join our Imaging Service and we are will be happy to work with suitable candidates to ensure a role that will fit their needs and lifestyle
We have the following roles available;
- MIT full or part time
- MIT (PACs/RIS Administrator) full or part time
Te Whatu Ora Wairarapa is looking to employ registered MITs. We have two opportunities - the first for a general MIT, and, the second for a MIT who will have the responsibility of leading the current PACs/RIS project through to implementation, and then maintaining and supporting the Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Arching Communication System (PACS's) application to ensure ongoing reliability and performance.
In both roles your responsibilities will also include working in all general areas of the department including, general Radiology, CT and Fluoroscopy and performing examinations in special care areas such as HDU, Theatre, Emergency and general wards.
There is also a requirement to be available for the after-hours on call roster. Actual days and hours of work will be discussed further at interview.

Experience in CT preferable however applications will also be accepted from individuals willing to train in CT. All roles are permanent and we are wanting to speak with applicants who are interested in working full or part time. We welcome New Grads (who are due to receive their registration) and experienced MIT's.
