Mō te tūnga | About the role
The Manager Offender Management Systems is responsible for the Departments eco system of applications used by staff when managing people in our care. As part of the Offender Management System Product group they will manage product backlogs, product-specified architecture, work programmes, maintain and guide our capability and capacity to fix and enhance the product. The role also provides leadership and direction in support of Corrections outcomes in the management of offenders.

The Departments digital team supply technology and related services to a hugely diverse stakeholder group including staff, partners, suppliers, agencies, and the people in our care. The quality and accuracy of what we do impacts the Departments 11,000 staff and the tens of thousands of others who use our technology.
The Manager Offender Management Systems is responsible to lead the development of an Offender Management Roadmap for Corrections ensure alignment with Departmental priorities.
You will provide leadership and support to the Offender Management team that values inclusion and diversity. Lead and champion safety and wellbeing and encourage professional development to build and maintain a centre of excellence.
Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience
We are looking for a confident IT Manager with strong organisational and leadership skills with proven experience in staff management.
You will have minimum of 10 years' leading a team responsible for the ongoing support and management of a key ERP/Core Digital asset. With proven ability to manage multiple competing objectives, anticipate varying demands and managing workflows.
You will demonstrate strong organisational and leadership skills with proven experience in staff management. Knowledge of a CRM such as the Departments Offender management System would be an advantage.
