Ngā kawenga | About the role
As the People Coordinator you will coordinate implementation of the calendars of learning and development courses and other National Learning Centre events, provide management reporting on progress against the Annual plan, and provide administrative support services that facilitate the effective delivery of learning and development services.
To enjoy this role, you should be adaptable, quick to learn, and able to work under pressure in a multi-workstream environment.
This role is based at the National Learning Centre in Upper Hutt.

We invite applications from suitably qualified people who demonstrate alignment with our kaupapa. Specifically, we will be looking for evidence and examples within your written application against the following requirements:
- Experience successfully coordinating people and/or events, preferably learning and development-related and/or in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Able to work with computer-based technology. Preferably capable with Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel. An advantage to have had experience working with a Learning Management System or similar logistics-based system.
- Approachability - each day, the job holder will be approached by numerous people with differing demands so must be able to switch focus frequently in an open and responsive manner
- Time management skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks and events amongst frequent interruptions in a way that keeps each on track in terms of timeliness and quality
- Enjoy problem solving, making things happen, and working through issues arising that may prevent getting the right people to the right event with the right materials and equipment at the right time
Utu ā-tau | Salary
The midpoint of the salary range is $60,007 per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $51,006 - $ 72,008 per annum. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
