Education New Zealand - Manapou ki te Ao (ENZ), is a Crown Agency responsible for international education, benefiting New Zealand socially, culturally, and economically. Promoting New Zealand education and working to support the delivery of education services offshore, ENZ also administers scholarships to New Zealanders wishing to study overseas, and scholars seeking a New Zealand education.
Te āhua o Te Tūrunga - The nature of the position
We have an award-winning, globally recognised digital marketing programme, and ENZ is looking for a savvy Social Media Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the Global Campaigns and Communities Manager, you will be responsible for publishing, updating and reviewing social content, managing our Kiwi Ambassadors (including influencers and alumni) who generate social media and blog content, liaising with our offshore colleagues on social media campaigns and reporting on social content and development.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is high energy, proactive, with a sense of humour to join an innovative global Government agency, working across 13 countries.
Ngā tino Pūkenga/Wheako – Essential skills/experiences for the role
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a social media specialist role
- Demonstrable experience and in-depth working knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and WeChat
- Experience sourcing, writing, and publishing social media content across a range of platforms
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Awareness of and sensitivity to cross cultural issues when working with people from other cultures and countries
