Business Analyst, Planning, Funding & Outcomes - Central at Te Whatu Ora, Wellington

About the Role

Health New Zealand (HNZ) is seeking expressions of interest from experienced Business Analysts to assist in consolidating and improving access to Central Region's contract management information.  This is a full time, fixed term/secondment for four months.

About you

The Business Analyst will come with strong problem solving and systems thinking skills, including change and influence skills. As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with the Group Manager Service Improvement to:

  • Locate and centralise contract information that is currently stored across various platforms, including databases, spreadsheets, and file systems
  • Assess and document the level of detail and quality of the contract information, identifying any gaps or outdated processes
  • Propose a solution for integrating contract information into a single, accessible environment that helps staff reduce time an effort
  • Implement the solution where feasible or provide a clear framework for future implementation
  • Ensure sustainability by equipping the incoming Regional Director Planning, Funding and Outcomes with the necessary processes to maintain and support contract data, including managing staff access in case of staff transitions
  • Bring an adaptable working style which can flex up and down with internal developments.
