About the Role
We have an opportunity available to join our Prevention Directorate, Screening team as a Senior Administrator.
The primary purpose of the role is to provide senior administrative support to the Clinical Director Screening to enable the delivery of high-quality screening services and programmes. Managing overall administrative duties, including coordinating with higher management to identify process and operations improvement.

About you
You ideally have proven experience in senior administrative support to a number of senior executives and their team to enable the efficient delivery of key services. You are also able to demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to write clearly and succinctly in a timely, and accurate manner. Your ability to actively champion and gives effect to Pae Ora (Healthy Futures) Act 2022 and the obligations of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and WAI2575 will make you an ideal candidate for this role.
- Has proven experience in administrative support of a senior leader
- Experience is the health sector is desired
- Understanding of kawa and tikanga and a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi & some experience working in partnership with iwi & Māori communities
- Understanding & experience working in partnership with Pacific communities
- Understanding of, and commitment to, the specific relationship under te Tiriti Waitangi, and Te Whatu Ora's role in improving outcomes for iwi and Māori communities
- The ability to work in complex organisations and with diverse stakeholders
