Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
As a member of the People and Capability team, the role has shared accountability for undertaking projects to improve the quality of HR information and the efficiency and effectiveness of human resources operational processes, both by supporting the re-engineering of existing processes and designing and implementing new processes.
The role also requires business support to ensure the smooth operations of the HR/People and Capability function. These are critical underpinnings to support the establishment and effective functioning of a single integrated national HR function supporting an 83,000-person organisation as Te Whatu Ora transitions from geographically based independent entities to a single national organisation.
Mōu | About you
The successful candidate will have previous experience in managing projects to standardise and strengthen processes as well as developing and implementing new processes. Couple this with your proven ability to drive the co-ordination and implementation of key projects and operational activities. Initiative is key to ensure the delivery of projects against the set outcomes.
- Experience of planning and successfully carrying out projects of varying size and complexity
- Experience working within project and operational based environments within a change programme
- Experience in supporting business operations
- Experience of HR management in large complex organisations that are undergoing significant change.
- Experience working within the health sector
- Experience in implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action
- Participated in business and process performance improvement initiatives
- Familiarity with HR systems and processes
- A graduate qualification
