Project Management Practice Manager

We are looking for a Project Management Practice Manager for our high-performing Organisational Planning and Performance Team. The roles' key purpose in an advising capacity, is to provide the information and advice that ensures projects and programmes in TEC are an integrated part of the overall business strategy and planning and are managed in a consistent, effective, and efficient manner.

He angitūtanga: About the Role

  • Advising TEC Leadership, the Manager Strategy, Planning & Performance and the Portfolio Governance Board on the alignment and prioritisation of projects to TEC's business strategy
  • Working closely with the Strategy & Planning team to determine a pipeline of projects that alignment with TEC strategy.
  • Developing, implementing, and reviewing TEC project frameworks, methodologies, and tools and ensuring they are fit for purpose and used by all project managers and teams.
  • Providing monthly reporting of TEC's Priority Projects to the Portfolio Governance Board.   

He kōrero mōu: What we are looking for:

  • A professional project management qualification and/or extensive and comparable experience and training.
  • Experience as a Senior Project Manager or in a senior role in a Project Management Office combined with experience in influencing through others.
  • In-depth knowledge of project delivery frameworks, methodologies, and tools.
  • Experience developing and providing advice to senior leadership teams on the organisation's programme management and supporting the business strategy and plans
  • Experience working with government sector project and programme requirements.

The salary range for this position starts from $132,290 up to $155,635 depending on demonstrable skills and experience
