Te Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission leads the public sector to make a positive difference for New Zealand and New Zealanders. We a fixed term or secondment opportunity a highly motivated advisor's to join our Ministerial and Executive Services team at Te Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission.
This is a 7-month fixed term or secondment role backfilling maternity leave.
The position provides efficient and effective ministerial services to the Commission and its stakeholders. It is also the Commission's key liaison with the office of the Minister for the Public Service which requires oversight of complex and sensitive requests.

To be effective in the role you will need to have:
- an eye for detail and good processes,
- excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- a demonstrated ability to engage with people and build effective relationships and networks
- an ability to manage a broad range of product deliverables
- an ability to deliver high quality products
- a strong preference to work in a team environment, with a mix of shared and individual accountabilities.
- knowledge of the Public Service and understanding of the context for public service agencies.
- tech savviness and be comfortable using a range of technologies or applications, eg, Adobe, Microsoft Products, Sharepoint
The role will suit an experienced advisor who is a confident, a quick-learner, self motivated, with strong collaboration skills and an enthusiastic and flexible mind-set.

This position usually pays between $79,619 to $97,644 depending on skills and experience.
