We have an exciting opportunity as our Manager Business Change. You will be a seasoned people leader who understands the importance of business change and has the vision to take the change team to the next level.
We're looking at transformative change for Te Toki | Transport Services, looking beyond the projects to a design led transformative change across our business. You will lead the team of change managers, turning strategy into action for Te Toki | Transport Services. You will contribute to a high performing team passionate about achieving organisational goals, building stakeholder confidence, and providing a great experience for users of the land transport system. You will manage change impacts and opportunities, not just to minimise disruption, but to facilitate change adoption that will drive a faster or more effective realisation of benefits and outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drive a vision for transformative change with a centralised view of all significant change initiatives, ensuring they align with strategic goals.
- Lead a team of change managers - enabling their high performance and professional development.
- Develop and recommend strategic solutions to complex business problems and change processes.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, building change maturity across the business, to ensure effective change adoption and a positive experience for all users.
- Collaborate with leadership to monitor and maintain resource pipelines for ongoing and future change.

Ko koe tēnei | About you''
This role requires a seasoned change professional with:
- Significant experience in change leadership and delivery, including transformational, operational change and building change maturity.
- Strong people leadership experience within matrix environments.
- Proven success in managing complex change initiatives and delivering measurable benefits.
- Strong strategic, lateral problem-solving skills, with a focus on system-thinking and human-centered design.
- Outstanding communication, relationship building and stakeholder engagement abilities, including workshop facilitation and coaching.
- Change management certification or accreditation (e.g., Prosci , ACMP) is preferred.
